Rate Field was host to an extremely emotional fan base during a Sox home game.
There was a brawl between Chicago White Sox fans in the stands as fists were thrown from all directions. There was even an incident in which a beverage was thrown at the head of a girl who was dancing during the action. During her pursuit of her attacker, she was unfortunately knocked down. Fan reactions to this video was immediate:
- Baseballs games so boring people just be fightin for entertainment
- Being a Cubs fan, I’ve openly wondered where all the homely chicks go when they want to see a baseball game. Now I know.
- I used to go to Cubs games as a kid. I asked my parents if I could go see a White Sox game, they said no.
- Remember when adult women would arrange flowers and write letters?
There has not been a season in which the White Sox have finished above .500 since 2021. If you were to look for another good season from this franchise, you would have to go back to 2012. Over the past decade, Chicago White Sox fans have experienced some hardships. As the American League is experiencing a down year, this team may just have a chance to make the playoffs.
The White Sox 9-8 win over the Cubs on Sunday lifted their record to 24-22 on the year.
