The Chicago Cubs are off to a great start in 2026. Although the team is currently 4-6 in their last 10 games, they still boast a 29-18 overall record through their first 47 games. The Milwaukee Brewers sit in second place at 26-18 which is 1.5 games back.
However, fans are pounding the table for one of Chicago’s All-Stars to be suspended from the league for what he screamed at a female White Sox fan.

Fans Demanding Cubs All-Star Be Suspended After Remarks To Female Fan
During the Cubs and White Sox series finale, cameras captured Pete Crow-Armstrong in a lively conversation with a female fan. It was apparent that a female White Sox fan was talking crap to the Cubs star as she pushed on a gate fence.
Crow-Armstrong retorted right back at her as a man in a Cubs uniform pushed her back and waved him away. As he walked away, other male White Sox fans taunted him. As a result, the woman took to Twitter/X to tell her story:
Hey @MLB @Cubs Come get your boy. “You suck my f*ckin d*ck b*tch” pic.twitter.com/3p7XCiI4hW
— Nate (@Username676357) May 17, 2026
Fans immediately reacted to this interaction:
-
@MLB should suspend him right now – Brewers fan lol
- ’m a cardinals fan so generally I hate the Cubs, but I actually like when pro athletes are fed up with the heckling and trash talk and fire back at spectators. If you can dish it you gotta be able to take it, I don’t care what your job is. People are people. Good on PCA here. That lady sucks.
- Bro got triggered bc she said “you suck” Charmin ultra soft
- No way to talk to a women
- Is that all she said was “You suck” ?
Immediately following the game, Crow-Armstrong spoke plainly about the interaction.
“Some lady decided to start talking s— and I felt the need to say it back,” the Cubs star said, summing up exactly what the video confirms.
It was the culmination of an otherwise disappointing weekend for the Cubs, who lost their series to the surging White Sox by allowing 17 runs between Saturday and Sunday. Although the Cubs still lead the standings, the series allowed the White Sox to push two games above .500 two years after a historically poor campaign.
It will be a welcome development for Crow-Armstrong to return to the north side on Monday when they start their series against the second place Brewers.
