Two weeks ago, the Brewers were last in the NL Central. At the same time, the Chicago Cubs had just completed their second 10-game winning streak and were a top the division.
That’s no longer the case.
As a result of their 5-2 victory over the Cubs on Tuesday, the Brewers are in first place. As for the Cubs, the have lost eight of their last ten games. To add insult to injury, Brewers’ Ace pitcher Jacob Misiorowski made Pete Crow-Armstrong nearly fall over in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Jacob Misiorowski Makes Pete Crow-Armstrong Nearly Fall Over After Strike Out
After making two of the most absurd starts in MLB history in terms of velocity, Jacob Misiorowski was only able to throw 101 mph against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday.
There were no problems.
As the Milwaukee Brewers’ ace pitched six scoreless innings, he struck out eight and allowed only three hits and one walk. Through 10 starts, he has a ridiculous ERA of 1.89. In addition, he leads the Major League Baseball with 88 strikeouts. This one, however, got fans on their feet:

Fan immediately ran to the comment section to share their thoughts:
- PCA is so bad (laughing emoji)
- Thank God the Cubs paid PCA all that money.
- You can feel the breeze from PCA’s whiff all the way here in Woodstock! Felt like a zephyr lol!
- Hitting 88 Ks in fewer innings than his rookie year means he’s not just improving, he’s becoming a glitch. Give it 6 months. Everyone’ll call him the league’s most unhittable arm.
The NL Central Is Tight
As the season approaches the 50 game mark, the NFL Central is by far the most competitive division in the major. At this point, no team is under .500 and the last place team is just five games back. Here is a look at the standings as of this writing:
- Milwaukee Brewers: (28-18) – 0 Games Back – Last 10: 8-2
- St. Louis. Cardinals (28-19) – 0.5 Games Back – Last 10: 6-4
- Chicago Cubs (29-20) – 0.5 Games Back – Last 10: 2-8
- Cincinnati Reds (25-24) 4.5 Games Back – Last 10: 5-5
- Pittsburgh Pirates (24-24) 5.0 Games Back – Last 10: 3-7
This will certainly be one of the most interesting divisions to watch as the season progresses.
