Shirtless MLB Fans Start To Go Viral Throughout The League
As the Cardinals defeated the Pirates, 9-6, in 10 innings, on Tuesday night at Busch Stadium, Ivan Herrera’s walk-off three-run homer off Mason Montgomery sent the Pirates to their fourth consecutive loss. It also sent Cardinals fans into a frenzy in the stands. Take a look:

FOX 2 has learned that a Texas club baseball team is responsible for the viral “Tarps Off” shirtless fan trend at Busch Stadium this past weekdend.
As part of the National Club Baseball World Series held in nearby Alton, Illinois over the weekend, the Stephen F. Austin club baseball team organized a fan celebration on Friday during which hundreds of shirtless fans filled multiple right field sections, waved their shirts like rally towels, and erupted cheers and chants throughout the stadium.
While the team is expected to return to Texas in the near future, they have made arrangements to attend at least one more game at Busch Stadium. They were honored with a ceremonial first pitch on Tuesday following Saturday’s win in and invite into the Cardinals clubhouse.
