The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs have had one of the better rivalries in the MLB over recent years. In Fact, between 2023 and 2025, the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers played 38 regular-season games, with Chicago holding a slight 20-18 advantage. However, Milwaukee eliminated the Chicago from the playoffs last season in the NLDS (3-2).
While Chicago got out to an extremely hot start in 2026, Milwaukee has climbed all the way back to the top of the standings. Their resurgence is impacting one die hard Cubs fan pretty hard.

Cubs Fan Going Through It After Brewers Take Series
In Tuesday’s 5-2 victory over Chicago, Brewers’ Brice Turang went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk, and an additional run scored.
In the eighth inning, Turang capped off a three-hit night with a two-run homer off Trent Thornton. That combined with Jacob Misiorowski’s strong performance yet again (6.0 IP, 8 Ks, 3 hits, 0 ERs) was too much for the Cubs to handle.
After the game, popular Cubs fan ‘Bree’ took to social media to express her frustrations:

After starting the season as one of the hottest teams in baseball, Chicago has come crashing back to earth. Not only are they 2-8 in their last 10 games but their loss today technically moved them into third place in the NL Central.
On the positive side for Bree and the rest of Chicago faithful, it is a long season and the NL Central is as tight as it can get at this point in the season:
- Milwaukee Brewers: (28-18) – 0 Games Back – Last 10: 8-2
- St. Louis. Cardinals (28-19) – 0.5 Games Back – Last 10: 6-4
- Chicago Cubs (29-20) – 0.5 Games Back – Last 10: 2-8
- Cincinnati Reds (25-24) 4.5 Games Back – Last 10: 5-5
- Pittsburgh Pirates (24-24) 5.0 Games Back – Last 10: 3-7
