Jordan Montgomery has signed a one year, $25 million contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks (report).

Jeff Passan was the first to report that the Diamondbacks were signing Jordan Montgomery to a contract. The contract details have been reported as a one year, $25 million contract with a vesting $25 million option for a second year. Per reports he needs to make 23 starts in 2025 in order to get the full $25 million and can opt out of the 2025 season if he makes 10 starts in 2024.
